Build It and They Will Come!


A male Bluebird sits on a honeysuckle covered post near the entrance to the Butterfly Garden keeping watch on the next box #2.

The eggs are laid in a grass lined nest inside the nest box.

Females incubating eggs are not disturbed when the box is opened for monitoring.

Soon the young will hatch and the adults will be busy feeding the young. Watch for them when you visit the BFEC.
