The Brown Family Environmental Center at Kenyon College (BFEC) is dedicated to research, environmental education, and the preservation of the natural habitats of central Ohio, while celebrating the region's rich heritage of farming.
The center encompasses 380 acres of land that offers opportunities for research, observation, and recreation. The landscape features a seven-acre prairie, a ten-acre wetland, a white-pine plantation, expansive grasslands, butterfly garden, and more than three miles of hiking trails.
